Hello! I began my photography journey in the mid- 1960’s as my high school’s yearbook photographer. My uncle first introduced me to real-world photography as I assisted him with his wedding and portrait photo business. After graduating with a TV, Radio & Film degree from Michigan State University, I worked for the MSU Instructional Television Center for several years. I then entered the corporate world as a video, photo, print and graphics production specialist - later moving into digital media communications production and management positions. I’ve worked a lot of places and I’ve done a lot of things over my career - and it seems I’ve always had to have a camera nearby to help me get the job done! I’m retired from the corporate media world now, but I’ve continued my photography (with my son Mac’s expert assistance) for many years now. I believe there is a photography market for high school seniors who want a few nice portraits taken to document their last year of high school… yet they don’t necessarily feel the need to spend a small fortune or an extreme amount of time in the process. That’s the primary  group of people I’m trying to reach. So, if you need to drive for three hours and then hike 5 miles through brush, jackpines and swamps to get to your special location shoot - I’m probably not your guy! (my son Mac can handle that for you!) However if you’re seeking some great studio portraits along with a few outdoor shots here on my property by all means give me a call!
